Installed Drag Specialties 3 wire tach on 2011 Fatboy Lo. Instructions said to attach the signal wire to neg side of coil, I was just wondering if anyone knows if there is a signal wire/plug under the gas tank instrument panel?

Signal wire is usually black and connects to the negative of coil, to allow tach to 'sense' engine speed.

I would want my tach wire to the ignitionn aa one continous run with no splice nor connection point. Food for thought but then again, I'm old school
