Floorboards on 91 fxst

Wanting to go from the factory forwards to floorboard set up on my 91 fxst. REALLY wanna get rid of the master cylinder setup. I've found a very nice set from a 00/06 flst but haven't had enough experience with this frame to know what could be adapted to work. Has anyone done this swap? I've found the floorboards I can put in place of my pegs but I really hate the master cylinder setup on this bike. Adapting and fab work isn't an issue, I just don't want to drop a chunk of change on a set that won't work at all. Thanks

Any foot boards off that era Softail
(Heritage Fafboy etc) should bolt
right on.

I took fwd controls off a late 80s
Softail Custom and put them on
an 84 Shovel.
Bolted right up.
