I am also in MN, well be mving there in Sept. any advice on dealerships or other places to get work done or get accesories would be sweet
Where abouts are you moving to? I live in the eastern Twin Cities suburbs. I usually buy my parts from St Paul Harley due to the fact that I get 15% off everything through their MVP program. The people there are friendly and I think their customer service is good. I usually do my own work, but have used them for some warranty work and new tires; they did a good job.
I will me moving to the Minneapolis area, most likely a suburb near the airport.
I will keep everyone posted on my customizing, but most of it will happen over the winter. I will post pics each time I get something new
Thanks for the advice on St paul Harley. I will go there for all my needs since you have had a good experience there. I bet they are glad they treated you well since just by giving you good service they just recruited a new customer in me.
BTW, SPHD has an outdoor pavilion where they grill up free burgers on Saturday mornings around 11ish. I'm usually there hanging out with the boys. Stop by and say hi.

All right guys, I am changing my mind a bit, I think I need the street slammers or a bar that is similar? anyone know one that looks like the street slammer but a little less in $
Also i think i am going to wait on the chrome kit and get some PIPES! looking at the VH shortshots staggered, they look pretty bad ***. Anyone with expereince with these pipes? What other sort of upgrade am i looking at with the pipes? I do not want to do anything with the engine besides pipes, so maybe slip ons would be a better route?
I have the Big Shot Staggerd, I believe they are much the same pipes as the Short Shots just a little longer.
I went with the BSS just to put the exahust a little further behind me, although I'm sure the Short Shots are louder if that's what you're looking for.

did you have to do any othe rmods with tuning or air filter with the pipes?
Yup, I also had the HD stage one kit installed and the factory download.
I was very impressed with the results, but I do get a bit of popping on the decel.
