Hey again guys, seems to me I'm on here every day now, but wth, I just took these plugs out of my softail big twin 88 and to my surprise I found this **** ( pics below ) and I'm thinking how does this engine run so smoothly for the condition that in my opinion looks like oil pumping to them. This is the first time I've looked at them since I got the bike in April. So what do you think? Your opinions are surely appreciated. Thanks in advance if I don't get back to y'all, but usually I will. Front jug Back jug
Carbed or EFI? Is it smoking? Excessive soot on tailpipe(s)? Compression checked? Oil consumption?
it's an 02 softail deuce EFI, not smoking at all, don't know about compression but the bike runs beautifully, starts right up no problem. I did notice that I might have a small seepage on the back of the rear jug, guessing valve cover gasket. So I'm open to suggestions
Oh no oil consumption that I know of, cause I've only put 20 miles on it since I bought it. I know, I know, it's a long story, let's just say I've been wrenching on it more than riding it. But this concerned me.

If everything is running fine then I'd look at the tune. Might just be rich.
Harley can prolly check that or a dyno shop. or buy a tuner and try a new map.

Probably should get it out and run it an hour or two to get the engine up to temp and burn off any residual gunk. Get it up to temp like for about 30 minutes, then pull a plug and look at it. Looks like you started it, ran it for a few minutes, then pulled the plugs without allowing the enrich circuit to shout off.
Is the engine stock or does it have a stage I or stage II on it? If so, as stated above you may need to revisit your tune.
