Custom Dynamics Pro Beam Help (FLSTN)
I ride a 2008 Softail Deluxe and am upgrading the lighting on the back end. I recently purchased the following from Custom Dynamics:
I installed the LED Tombstone and it works like a champ. Bright. Sexy. Safer.
I installed the Red Rear Turn Signals and they will not even turn on. I expected them to at least turn on and flash quickly as they are LED and I do not have the Smart Signal Stabilizer yet. For those of you who have installed the Red Rear ProBEAMs, do you have to have the Smart Signal Stabilizer for them to even light up or am I doing something wrong?

Yeah, I called earlier today and found they're closed on weekends. That's when I thought I'd try here and see if anyone has experience.

Reversed polarity is very common with 1156 turn signal sockets (and wouldn't present an issue until converted to LED, incandescent bulbs are not polarity sensitive like LEDs are).

I had never heard of the reverse polarity condition on the Sportsters and Softails....

Technically you can have reversed polarity on any 1156 or 1157 socket but you're right, there is always more to learn!

I had the same thing happen on my 06 Heritage and the OLs 14 Deluxe, the polarity was reversed in the wiring. Custom dynamics has a video on you tube showing how to reverse the polarity on the led lights.
