Default Looking to go Shorter - Samson True Duals

Looking to possibly go from 39" to maybe 36" or 33". Since I have Shotgun Shock and like to ride a little low and the 39" really make it hard since leaning on turns and curves cause scraping the Fishtail tip.

Anyone else decide to go shorter?

Also Samson wants like $450 for just the pipes.

Check out steady customs they do 36” end pipes for decent $$$. LINK

Someone with 33” or 36” samsons will buy your 39”s for sure (or may want to swap)

Thank you for the Link. Those seem to be all one piece including the Fishtail Ends, The Samson Tips are removable and it allows me to change the Baffles..I forget which Baffles I have in there now but they might be V&H Quiet Baffles.... ...

never gave a thought to curves, but every time I see those, I wonder how many get scraped and jacked up pulling in and out of some parking lot aprons

Yep, my driveway being one of them. I have to raise the bike all the way up pulling in and out. On a ride with a buddy he decided to take a shortcut through a town road that had speed bumps every 25ft.......you can imagine that fun..

Just want to get my bike back to a practical ride state.....

Thank you..

Is your bike lowered at the front?

Maybe thats an option to level out your pipes more parallel to the ground.

Yes, your right. I have Progressive Mono tubes waiting to be installed but still would want to go shorter on the pipes..
