Well, I got em installed about 2 weeks ago. Been on a few rides.
There is a noticeable improvement. My old bike had 203's, so I knew what to expect.
Nothing Earth shattering. Although my 00 was carbureted and had a Thunderheader (So it was better)
But throttle response, roll on power and overall drivability, ALL better. And, it seems to run cooler. 20 deg
cooler oil temp. Just shows how de-tuned and lean these things are out of the box.
At least now it sounds like a Harley and not a loud air compressor.
That alone was worth the price of admission.
The cam chain tensioners. A little over 1/3 worn @ 20K miles. There was some slight
pitting going on with one of em.
