What year..... not sure it matters, but it would be nice to know...
I replaced the console on my 2003 Heritage..
It has been several years now, but I recall it being pretty simple.... Do you have the Service Manual...? I'm not at home so I can't check mine..
If I remember correctly, lights in the console are a two-part piece... the lens snaps into the console from the top, and then the light module snaps into the lens from the bottom...
There should be tabs that will release the module from the lens.....
I think I see the tabs in your pic, but I don't remember which ones do what...
Sorry mate,it's a 2009 Fatboy
xl pi
Have a service manual arriving shortly so I'd only break it if I don't know how to get it out.Have done heaps of mods to my bike but this little f....r has me scratching the head.Embarrassing to say the least 😂

Reason: Extra info
I don't have my service manual available, but I looked at the parts finder for your year/make bike.....
The parts finder confirms what I thought I remembered... In this pic it shows that the indicator lamp bezel (# 13) goes into the console from the top, and the LED indicator lamp assembly (#14) goes into the console from below... The tabs on the bezel (green arrows) snap into the lamp assembly and hold it in place via the clips on the lamp assembly (blue arrows).
Again, I don't remember exactly, but the parts pic suggests that you pinch the tabs on the bezel, to release the lamp assembly...
I copied the pic of your console and highlighted the tabs with red arrows.... the yellow arrow is pointing to what looks like a broken tab... you may need a pic or small screwdriver to manipulate that tab, to release the lamp assembly...
Good luck with the repair...
