Just purchased 2011 softail deluxe, didn’t come with owners manual. Just changed the transmission fluid. Should I check level on jiffy stand or level ground. I know it’s different for different bikes…

Mark on the dipstick for both, one up and one on the stand. Head over to the Welcome area and introduce yourself
