Default need 2011 RKC kick/jiffy stand help...

Yesterday while rolling my bike out of my garage I noticed something odd with my jiffy stand... it's not locking or engaging into place to keep it from rolling forward on a downward pitch(also noticed when I kick it down from it's up position it's not extending out on it's own , anyone else experience this or have a fix suggestion, never had to swap out or repair one, what's involved if need be?

Check/replace the spring, clean up the area as it is prone to grime and lube the leg stop (tab that locks it in place) and check the bolt for proper torque.

If you have the front of the bike going down hill, it will roll forward a little, that's what locks it in. But still need to ckeck torque on bolt.

Finally had to totally replace one a couple years ago, even after replacing the spring. A gazillion times being used things will wear out. Mine stopped locking at all and would sag when not down. Put it down to park once and the bike fell over. That was the straw that broke the camels back. Can't remember what I paid but pretty sure it was less than $100.

won't lock in, but will check the torque.

bike is not sagging/leaning anymore than usual, at least I don't think so, I could be wrong and perhaps it may be just a tad and I've never noticed.
