I'm picked up a 1997 Heritage Springer and I'm looking for handlebar ideas. I'm leaning towards 12"-14" apes with a narrow base but I would love to see what others have done.

Imo narrow base on a heritage won’t look great. Wider base and maybe thicker bars fit the trees better. If it was a springer then I’d be more for something more narrow.

 

I agree with your statement on a none springer. The bike I’m buying is a springer. Hate the stock bars 🤢

 

Can anyone identify these bars? Look to be a little small at the base which is what I'm looking for.

These are Carlini Menace 1.50 12" bars just to give you an idea of how narrow they are.

 

Wild One's Chubby Bars have a series that fit the Springer models (FXSTS & FLSTS)....

I have the Chubby Springer Drag bars on my FXSTS.... they are very good quality...

I have Chubby bars on my '16 Bagger too, again, very good quality bars...

i just realized you said heritage springer. I haven’t seen many options in that case that look really good. The narrow bars I ever have seen look more like they need to be on a bobber. I did like my wild1z chubby springer bars, but don’t think they great on a heritage springer.

 

I had a hell of a time finding bars that were narrow along the bottom for my springer. I think it’s due to the spacing. I ended up going with bars from Nash Motorcycle Co called Just Some Apes. Nice and narrow fit on my springer.

 

I went 36" beach. being short with alligator arms makes comfort with apes impossible
