has anyone attempted to disassemble the ignition switch on the tank to clean the contacts. The bike is a 2015 so it has the canbus system, switch does not look like older style with circlip to hold back together.

I've done the older ones, pretty easy to disassemble and clean...... but I never messed with a canbus switch...
If you should decide to give it go, takes some pics and share what you find....

When I cleaned & lubed my ignition switch ('03 Heritage).... I had never taken one apart before...
I knew it was the switch, so I figured before ordering a new one, I'd try to fix the old one...
I took numerous pics each step of the way so I wouldn't forget how it went back together... it paid dividends when I couldn't remember the orientation of the last piece, directly under the circlip...
