Default Heritage idling issues

My '03 Heritage efi has just started idling alot higher than normal recently. On top of that in first and second gear it spits and sputters horribly at lower ram's. Trying to diagnose the problem. It does have a PC and a python 2 to 1 exhust but the rest is all stock. The bike had been such a pleasure since I bought it, currently it had around 42,000 miles on it. Has anyone gone through this situation before??

Anytime someone has a piggy back tuner connected to their bike, and the bike starts to run poorly, I suggest they disconnect the tuner and see if the problem goes away... The piggy back tuners do fail.. It's good to check the tuner first.. Also check the connectors at that time... clean and protect with just a dab of dielectric grease if necessary...

I would also see what codes may be present... it could guide your search once you take the tuner out of the equation...

Report back what you find...
