Default SE Plug wires

Is there really any need to use the SEupgraded spark plug wires if there are no engine mods other than pipes, SE A/C Kit, and PCIII?

Nah, the stockers are fine. I wanted red plugs wires, that's why I put an SE set on my Train.

Cheers!

As you may have read on this forum, someof the new bikesare hard to start. Mine was sort of like that. Every once in a while I had to start it on the 2nd try and sometimes the starter would turn over more than usual when starting. I switched my wires and plugs and went with the SE 8mm terminated plug wire and the SE triple platinum performance spark plugs with the split V electrode. Since I changed these parts, the bike starts immediately and always on the first try. I would say, if you have the starting problems that some bikes do,try this and I think you'll see a difference. Just my opinion.

I agree, the only need to change them out is if you want a different color. If you do change them out they are only 12 or 13 bucks.

I'll have to look into the blue chrome spark plug lines. I would imagine the only way you need to change wires is if you changed the ignition!
