07 and up are a six speed, 06 is a 5 speed, and I believe they upgraded the cam chain tensioners in 07. Good luck. MHO I would go for the 07 or 11 hopefully they have service records.

didnt realize the 06 is a 5 speed ,also, i believe the 06 has the 88b motor. but it is a pretty black cherry color. the 07 has a bunch of chrome and vance and hines pipes. not slip ons. the 11 is silver and has v &h slip ons but has 30,693 miles on it, also the 07 is pewter silver in color. 07 has 31,000 miles

All Softails then were the "B" motor. Counter balanced. In 2007 they went with the upgraded Hydraulic Cam Tensioners and the 96 ci engine and the 6 speed transmission.

The milage wouldnt be a deal breaker as long as they can prove good mainenance was performed, check the tire date codes and tread, spokes, test ride them. When were they serviced last?
Owners manual with them and anything else you can think of. Definatly get KBB, NADA values.

thx! i hadnt thot about checking the spokes. if loose they could indicate rough useage and /or not much in the way of maintenance. tires are ok on the '07 at best, the tires on the 11 look almost new. thanks again for checking the spokes relly hadnt thot of that. manual would be a big help too.
