2000 Softail Duece Rear Brake Piston Size
I feel stupid posting this but I've been in the internet for 6 hours now trying to find the answer. I need to replace the rear pistons on my 2000 Softail Duece and Harleys website has nothing, the forums have nothing. I go on J&P and they have 2 options. 1 and 1/8" diameter or 1 and 3/8" diameter. My stock rear caliper pistons measure 1.31" OD and 1.135" ID. What am I missing?
I checked on my conversion digital caliper and 1.31 in equals 1 and 5/16 in and 1.35 came out at 1 and 47/128 which is just shy of 1 and 3/8 so not a definitive answer. all is definitely larger than 1 and 1/8 so maybe slight margin for error in calipers
