Smart Alarm
I installed a factory Smart Alarm in my 15 ,FXSB. Had H.D. program in the initial pin, marry the two fobs, take my money and send me on my way. Two chirps on, one chirp off. working normal.
Haven't tried to set off alarm intentionally. The issue now is when riding the idiot light is constantly on. When alarm is active, bike on side stand, light pulses normally. After starting the bike the light comes on steady and doesn't turn off ??? Any logical explanation for this would be appreciated.

The security light will stay on when a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) has been generated. Check for codes and report back what you find.
Here is the procedure for checking for DTCs

Look up codes here: https://www.fuelmotousa.com/p-29661-...ble-codes.html
b1151 - Bank Angle Sensor (BAS) short to ground
b2151 - Left turn signal output open
b2156 - Right turn signal output open
b2161- Brake lamp output open
As mentioned above make sure to check the connectors under the seat, especially the one to the rear signals... You make have pulled/tweaked something when you installed the alarm.. Also check the connector to the BCM. And by check, I would unplug, inspect pins, add dielectric grease, and carefully reset the plugs.
After checking the connectors, fuses, and wires, then clear the codes and see what comes back...
