an oil "bag" and not oil tank?

It's a Harley thing.

Probably the same reason they call...
  • a speedometer a "clock"
  • a seat a "saddle"
  • a car a "cage"
  • and anything bigger than a Sportster an "upgrade"

Back in the day they made them out of a Pigs bladder, so that’s also why we call them Hogs!😂
