Well, just thinking ahead for winter mods. Ready for some more get-e-up. I've done lots of searching and I've seen lots of talk about what mods are best. I just want to see what actual results have been had. What mods have you made and what was the final outcome (HP and Torque)? Feel free to boast. All i know is the SERT and AC with V& H Big Radius didn't get my '06 anywhere close to where I want it to be!!!!
I was talking to my Dyno guy the other day about how customers do alot of engine work, and mean while the also have a certain style of exhaust in mind for the "look" of there ride.
In many cases the pipes kill the build and leave the engine with many great parts low in torque or just disapointing #s all together. of course the shop will always take your cash, then tell you your exhaust bites!
the SERT is a great product, but the skill of the tuner will make or break your efforts.
The Thundermax is a great product too, and will work wonders out of the box, but for best results some dyno time to change the inital paramitiers on fuel and timing will also yeild fantastic results.
So I quess what I wanted to say it plan ahead for extra cash for some tuning too. And start shopping for a tuner that has done some homework and can give you your monies worth!
Unfortunately mine couldn't wait until winter. It went "poof" 1/2way thru June.
My mod list from that mishap:
New S&S heads, 600 cam, S&S pistons, S&S reed type breather, new bearings, new comp. sprocket, new M6 tensioner, etc...
Already has Jims Powerglide Big Axle lifters, adj. pushrods by Jims, Super G carb w/Thunderjet, Dynatek 2KI ignition w/3ohm coils and Hooker Fourbiddens.
Will have it running again very soon, then after break in, I will get this on the Dyno and post the results!

Thanks for the heads up mentor, I'll keep that in mind. I admit I didn't study up on any of this before purchasing the Big Radious...just thought they looked cool. I realize now that those pipes aren't the best choice when looking for more HP(man, they do look cool though!) I probably would have gone with theshorts otherwise - I'm just not a big fan of the way2 into 1 pipes look. Well I'm not a fan of the look yet anyway, my tastes have changed a little since I joined this site and since I've had more exposure to differnt things.
