Default Anyone using the Legends Revo A shocks?

Anyone using the Legends Revo A shocks on a TC Softail?

Just curious how much they improve the ride and if they're worth the money they're charging for them.

Use the SEARCH function in the upper right corner of this page.

If you buy a pair and adjust them per the instructions, you will be amazed at the differece in comfort.

Yes. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I used the search function, and Google, but didn't find much regarding those specific shocks on Softails. Tons of info on Touring and Dyna, but very little on the TC Softail models. Lots of talk about Progressive and Shotgun. I also don't want to get hollered at for bumping an old thread.

The Legends are quite expensive and I'm concerned about access to the transmission drain plug, which is why I'm asking here.

The other shock I was interested in was the one made by Racetech, but there seems to be even less info about those.

I found the ride to be more harsh on my limited. I contacted Legends and they said the would be a firmer ride for better handling. I wished I had gone with progressives.

You'll have limited access to the transmission drain plug. I use a hand pump to change fluid and seems to work fine.

They DO interfere with access to the trans drain plug... you will need to drop the shocks, or suck the oil out the dip stick tube with an oil vacuum device..

Note: he speaks of changing trans fluid starting about 1:25 in the video

Damn ! My eyes and my reading comprehension must not be what they used to be. I completely missed the soft tail part of the question. Sorry about that.

I gave serious thought to these. My Indy likes them, installed a ton of them as well as the Progressive kits. At the time I was able to do the RAP 422s and Monotubes for right around what the just rear Legends would cost. I don't have to remove a shock or siphon the oil out from the top so that too was an added bonus.

Plus I love the fact that I don't have to get under the bike to adjust the ride either. I'm very pleased with the Progs.
