I have an 08 Fatboy Anniversary. Bullet hole wheels. I'm new to HD this is my first one. The dealer installed new tires. To balance the rear, they used 22 stick on wheel weights. Please tell me this is not common!
Well, this is not common in my book. I use the Dynamic Bead Balancing system. Have for years on my bikes and customers bikes. Never had a problem and never had anyone come back for a re balance. My experience only.
I'm taking it back to dealer that installed the tires Thur. Service guy seemed real surprised when I explained the situation. I'll post again with results. Thank you all for your input. I think I will enjoy this forum. 👍🇺🇲
How much does that stuff weigh and after it's been installed is there a way to see how well the wheel is balanced? Do you know if it is actually working to balance the wheel?
An indy here doesn't even balance back wheels and no-one has complained to him of problems.
