Many times it seems that you can get your best bang for the buck in negotiations if you know what factory accessories you are going to want. Use that for getting a bundled price. The sales department gets discounts on parts from the parts department and labor from the service department, so if you bundle everything into one price for the bike and accessories and installation, you can save a bit.....the sales department is more willing to give up a markup on parts and labor than they are on the price of the bike....JMHO and YMMV

In 2021 when I bought mine, I quickly learned the difference between msrp and dsrp. It was worth the 1 1/2 hour drive to Columbus Oh from Northern Kentucky to save a few thousand. The dealer I went to was msrp across the board. Around my house all dealers charge thousands over. My advice is to find an MSRP dealer, rent a uhaul trailer for 20.00, and pick up your bike.
if you go to 5 different dealerships you will get 5 different prices. these days they are getting all they can. rape and pillage. dont bend over when you are there
My dealer is msrp, hd 1000.00 vig, freight and 199.00 doc. Tax and title varies by state. Even looking on cycle trader, theyre not posting anything past msrp.
