Messing up your warranty coverage

Hi, If I have upgraded mufflers put on my '07FXSTC, done by a non-HD Dealer, will that mess up my warranty coverage for something deemed related to that upgrade??? Thanks for the help, Steve

If a failure is directly related to your pipe upgrade the dealer can refuse to warranty that specific incident. (the burden of proof is theirs) They cannot void the rest of your warranty. See: Magneson-Moss act of 1975.

It wont void your warranty as stated above, The only way modifications can void you warranty is if the modification you make causes something else to break, then as said above the burden of proof is on the dealer.
