Although we have not verified that the mapping is the same for 08 the 813-511 unit will work on it. We hope to know about the mapping in the near future. Thanks. Dustin Schaller Powersports Technical Support Manager Dynojet Research 800-992-4993

I love the sound and the feel of my BSS on my 06 Heritage. They're louder, but I've never considered them excessive - especially whenI was riding with a buddy and his drag pipes - now THEY were loud!

WOW i just took it out for a quick 10 miles. Now I have a Harley. Seems to run quite a bit better. No popping on decel that I can tell. I did notice a a slight hint of black smoke after letting it idle for 30 sec in the driveway. I dont think I will worry to much about that yet. I can't tell about the temp yet as today is 20 deg cooler than my last long ride. Gotta go test some more!

I called Dynojet today and asked them if the PCIII worked on the '08 Softails and the guy I talked to said it would. I evenasked if it would work with the changes that were madeon the '08s, and he said it would work. However, the PCIII for the Touring models isn't out yet. Eastern Performance is selling the PCIII for the '07+ Softails for $289. The website says $279 but add $10 for '07+.

Hey PoorBoy I live in a garden home neighborhood and every body has a manicured yard as I do also, in fact I think I have one of the nicest home in the hood, been here 12 yrs. but a lot of retired people live here and they hate my GUTS because of my S.R.T.-10 and my HARLEY with D&D 2 in 1 header, IDO NOT SPEED thru the hood, I try very hard to drive my S.R.T. and sled slow and do not rap it out, but if I try to let them warm up people will just stare at me, and guy, I have tryed every trick in the book to make friends, cut there grass, signed for packages, wave and smile, but I have tattos on both arms so they judge me by looks only, I do not play the gossip game that go's on here, but I think people are more pissey than before, jobs tight, high gas prices, and we have young boys dying in Iraq, can't they count there blessings??!! OH WELL I like muscle machines, and its my hobby so I do not get it on till out on main road but I'm sure they still hear me, one guyuse's his garage for wood shop and when I walk my dogs I can hear him a block away!! But he is a good citizen, no tattos or Harley, sorry for rant but I pay $5000.00 taxs a year to live here, I feel like a criminal when I drive my toys and just bought a GX-470 for wife, but that burns to much gas! PURPLE HAZE.

Hey brother, I hear ya.

I live in a rather new development (but not gated or run by an association) and was one of the first homeowners. We then had a developer who bought-up a bunch of lots and built spec-homes that didn't sell. Kind of an instant ghost town. These became rentals where very few take care of what they are living in. None of those people get my respect. We have others who let their dogs run loose and several chase me on my bike, or come hang on the other side of my fence to bark at my dogs.

I ride at respectable times of day and night, take it slow, and really don't care now what they think.

If you ever head to Florida you will have a place to ride to where you will always be welcome!

Congratulations again Starbiker, keep us informed of your new decibels and performance.
