So where does all the heat go if you block it all in with a hunk of leather? It would seem like is would obstruct air flow and actually make your engine run hotter.
Well it doesn't. When I'm riding the flaps kind of float up a bit allowing the wind to pass under and over the top of the engine. But when I stop they keep the heat off my thighs. Great stuff.

I wonder this too. Same thing when some blocks air movement in fairings and such, I wonder what moisture could build up. Not saying I wouldn't if it bothered that bad

It is when you are stopped you tend to notice it more.
I was nervous when I got a bike with a cat, but so far my OL must just be tougher than you guys, cause don't notice it. Maybe one of those things, once you do it, you say why didn't I years ago
I don't have an oil tank under my seat though

Been wanting one for several months as it's easy to see and imagine how much it would help. Unfortunately a small fixed income makes things hard to get when more often than not something comes up during the month that the money going toward a Captain Itch product has to be used to fix said problem, thus making it another month I gotta wait and get burnt thigh and try to save up, lol. You'll get my order one of these years Captain!
I am very pleased by my Crotch Cooler, functions perfectly and aesthetically is a perfect match for my Heritage Classic
Captain Itch applied the chrome studs with 1 inch distance one from another as per my request, to match the other studs trims on the bike
The staff has been a real pleasure to deal with!
