Hmmmmm...... Difficult choice to be sure. (get the heritage) you'll have to take each of them for a ride to help in the decision (get the heritage) Both of them are great bikes and you'll be quite happy with either on of them I'm sure (get the heritage) I personally like the versitility in the Heritage myself (get the heritage) But the other model is has a beauty like no other (get the heritage). Good luck with your decision. Do you hear voices?
I think the Deluxe looks better, but the Heritage is a better value. You get a windshield, saddlebags, etc., for about the same money.
The deluxe is lower, and judging from my wife's Heritage, that is not a plus. The Heritage scrapes the ground pretty quick in corners, I sure wouldn't to have one any lower.
As soon as you wear out the factory tires, you can go with the WWW's and get a lot of the Deluxe look.
Like TDA69 said. They are basically the same bike. The deluxe does not come with a windshield or saddlebags. Heritage is a better buy if that's what you are looking for. Also the bags on the heritage are much bigger. The ride is the same.
Just have to say I went for the Deluxe three days ago and cannot stay off it...an awesome bike, but like many have said, you can't go wrong. Just go with what speaks to you.
Thanks to all who have posted, surfing what was written helped me zero in on what it was I really wanted. Gotta go, time to ride(again)!
