Default Discontinued part

Hi, I am chasing a part for a 2021 Heritage Soft Tail. The part number is 67900395 a reflector mount, which is off a saddle bag for this motorcycle. I have been advised that this part has been discontinued???? As the part is for a safety item on the motorcycle it is unroadworthy and I cannot get the motorcycle passed for registration or insured. At the moment I have a $36,000.00 paper weight in my garage. I can get the reflector and the push nuts which hold the mount on but not the mount. I have contacted Harley Davidson Australia Head Office customer service office and advised that they cannot help me with my issue. I have been advised by Head Office to contact Harley Davidson dealerships about my issue. I have contacted numerous dealerships and they advised me what I already knew that the part is unavailable. Is there an alternative which I can place on both the saddlebags? Thank you.

Get a stick on reflector with 3M tape on it, and get your registration and insurance.

As you stated , 67900395 is the R.H. side and NLA
L.H. side is 67900396 and still current.
Perhaps it could be bodged into service ?

Take off the bags and temporarily install something like this on the frame rails.

I don't think it's discontinued, it's simple was made in limited numbers and so new, they didn't plan on enough repair parts.

If it was an insurance claim, they need to replace the saddle bag. I would attach a temporary reflector on there like shown above .

Better talk to that inspector first maybe. He's a real I dotter and T crosser.

Over here, first thing a lot of people do is remove all that type of stuff.

Paul, as a new member on here, welcome and I hope you enjoy your ride here. Only as a suggestion, make your next new post over in the new member welcome area to say hello.

Shows up as $0.00 on parts finder.
OP`s dealers have repeatedly said " discontinued"

Get use to it HD is getting worst at pulling this ****. Part for the Street 500/750 and they discontinued a good while back already..
Contact HD and they say nothing they can do about it.

As others suggested just stick a reflector on it and get rolling.

$10.57 on the online pars catalog.

Google search shows numerous available.

Any reflector, even a bicycle reflector, will likely satisfy an inspection.

That same part was used on the ‘23 models and unless the ‘24 models are discontinued or drastically changed, it’ll probably be used on those, too. I would find it hard to believe it’s been discontinued and/or NLA.
