Well unfortunately we had a bad fire this past weekend and it destroyed my garage and most of my bikes, the 98 was spared but with heavy damage. Most importantly everyone got out unharmed. Fire started from a Traxxas RC LiPo battery which exploded.
Holy crap that's horrible. Perhaps start a fresh thread for it. As an RC car guy too, can you share more details about the battery? I keep mine in a .50 cal ammo can.
I raced 1/8 scale buggy and truggy for years, and Teckno RC SCT. Always keep my batteries in a storage bag in the shed. I've seen a few go up in flames on the bench at races. Not pretty. Hope everything works out for you.
