Got it off and got the tank off. Lot of work just to plug in front turn signals. Still have to finish putting it back together this weekend.
Good time to shine up the rocker boxes too.

I have manual and it didnt go into detail. I have been working on bikes for yrs and didnt want to mess anything up.I traded my drag bike for this bike and it has a lot of custom work done to it. It is also the NEWEST Harley I have had so a lot of it is new to me.

Parts diagrams can also sometimes give you clues where screws & bolts are.

Totally different dash.Check out pic. This one is held on by the center acorn nut AND the rear tank bolt. This was a hell of job just to hook up front turn signals. The rears turn signals will be a big job too. The PO cut the wires right at the original plug and pulled them out of the fender holder.
Will need to get my Shovelhead off my lift before doing that job.
