Default Left side classic toolbox mounting bracket 2012 FLSTN

Been searching for a left side mounting bracket for a teardrop toolbox for a 2012 FLSTN.
Does anyone have any info on a business that offers this part?
I cant find the part on any HD parts sites.
Sure hope I dont have to fab one up.
I have found many to fit right side mounts but No Left side mounting bracket.

The mounting bracket for the left side toolbox is #1 in the schematic. It is part number 64939-00. The stock mounting bracket does not fit your 2012 FLSTN directly but can still be used. I had the same problem on my 2012 Heritage for the right side toolbox. I can't install the left side toolbox without modification because of my dual fishtail exhaust. The pipe coming around the primary would be in the way (see my sig picture).

The reason the mounting bracket will not fit directly is because the spacing of the top bolt holes in the bracket is not the same as the spacing of the bolt holes on the fender rail. I made it work by simply using only one of the top bolt holes. Despite using only one of the top holes, I have never had a problem with the toolbox in the 12 years I have owned the bike.

Here is a picture of the bracket on my bike. You can see the difference in spacing between the bracket and fender rail.

Now the hard part. Locating the bracket only, part number 64939-00. You can search online or have your dealer try to locate it for you. My money is on having to purchase the entire tool box just to get the bracket.

Another option, as you suggested, is to fab one yourself. Good luck.

It's my digital voltmeter. I couldn't find a practical location for the mounting bracket (bars, frame, engine guard) so I decided to bolt it to the front of the toolbox.
