I have the Dragonfly on my Heritage and love it. Look at my pictures below.
i love the look myself.... does anyone know what kit is the best for the money... there are so many kits out the that i have found on line... what is the difference between all the different HD fairings out there... with the right brackets will any HD fairing bolt up to my quick disconnect windshield that i already have...?? can anyone point me in the right direction... i had an opportunity to buy a 03 elect. glide fairing the other day for about $175.00, it was the exact color paint and pinstripe as my bike and i passed on it because i could not find out if it would of worked on my bike, did i do the right thing by passing on it or would of it worked...??
Thanks
Dont know on that 95 fatboy I have a heritage and was also looking to do the same or to see if other models would fit or how much customizing comes with that
There are several contributors to this thread I’ll call the BIKE POLICE that don’t think it’s right to put a fairing on a Fatboy/Heritage. Let me tell you I paid my hard earned cash for my bike and nobody tells me what I do or don’t do to my bike. What is right for you may not be right for me. Hell that’s what the whole Harley experience is about is individuality and doing WTF you want to your bike. If you want a cookie cutter bike then go down to your local Honda dealer and they’ll be glad to sell ya one! I'll get off my soap box now.......

The thing is you are totally right.
And WTF, there are such small differences between the softails, you can make one look just like the other with just a couple stupid pieces of trim. Modding is the only real form of self expression on a bike.
ok... this is what i really want to do... can you point me in the right direction... i have seen kits out there that start around $600.00 (no tunes) thru $1500.00 (with tunes)... i don't need tunes... i like listening to the loud SE exhaust i have on the bike... i have ridden so long without tunes i don't need them... HELP!!! i don't want to get ripped off...

I agree, but this place is about sharing opinions.
i think everyone is entitled to their opinion as well as what their bike should look like... what i want for my bike is not what you or someone else may want for your bikes... that is what makes us individuals and our bikes a part of our personality... i like hearing all of your opinions whether you like what i want to do or not...
Well $hit then, I guess I have to sell my Fatboy with its dual exhaust and saddle bags and get a Road King since all this talk about things not being allowed with a Fatboy.
A detachable fairing that utilizes the Moco detach hardware is one of my planned mods for this winter on my Fatboy, for sure.
I already have the detachable bags, luggage rack, and windshield.
I love the Fatboy for its stripped down looks. But it also provides me a versatile platform for comfortable trips as well as that stripped down boulevard look I bought it for. I can go from solo running with pals to touring in about 5 minutes flat and that includes polishing my finger prints off the detachables chrome.
The detachable fairing will offer me a little more comfort on long runs... mainly good tunes from good speakers.
