I've not ever heard of them, but if you want a recommendation for damn fine leather saddlebags, THESE FOLKS have done me well since 2009. I had a set last about ten or twelve years, if I remember right, and that was on my Dyna that was in the weather all the time for most of those years. I never put oil or anything on them and they stayed soft and pliable and waterproof. That model of 'bags was THESE. The only reason I don't use them anymore is because I always order my 'bags as throwover and when the asshat t-boned me two years ago, when the bike slid some, it tore the yoke clean off one side. I now have two separate, single saddlebags with a handle on each doing me no good, though I suppose I could use them like suitcases if I needed to, heh.

The model I have now on my '97 Softail Heritage Classic is THIS as just one bag holds more than both the stock Heritage bags combined. I've actually and truly amazed people at how much groceries I can stuff into these 'bags. I even had an old lady bet me a dollar I couldn't get all the groceries I had in my cart into my 'bags and she stood there and watched me do it and handed me a dollar and said it just didn't seem possible. I now have a 3-sided garage and the opening faces south so very little weather gets in to get on the bike or tools or anything, so I suspect this set of 'bags will last *easily* twenty years or more. The tanning this place does is wonderful and the leather is very good and thick saddle/bridle leather. I always have them get rid of the plastic 'connector and just give me the long regular belts on each side (I don't trust the plastic, especially if I have to mess with it in really cold weather). The price for their 'bags is fair if you want *GOOD* and real *MADE IN AMERICA* saddlebags.

I've used Leatherworks, Inc. for the bags on my '01 Springer and '16 Low Rider...

They make a good bag, and will work with you on changes... for instance, I didn't want handles or "clips" on either bag, or zippers on the yolk of the throw over bags... no problem.. I even got a custom width on the Springer bags...

Here are the throw-over bags on my '16 Low Rider.

Here are the fixed bags on my '01 Springer ( I made the mounting bracket myself).

I do not have any specific budget, but have a deadline of mid June as leaving on a trip
I have looked at cheap $125 "disposable" bags just for the trip. But they need to last the trip or they are worthless
And at bags over $500, its capacity that I am interested in
They would be taken off the bike except for trips

I was looking on the Saddlemen site & saw these, but they need turn signal relocation, they do not sell that
Main reason I like these is they can expand from 31L to 51.5L. I actually asked it that was correct, they said Yes

I bought Leather Pros Retro V3 they're not the cheapest but they are nice. I did have a hiccup with one of the bags but a phone call to them and my problem was gone. I believe they expand to 51L not sure but I do know they'll hold a **** ton of stuff. No turn singnal relocation needed, quick disconnect, easy install. that's my $.02

I've got a 23 FXLRST, the Saddlemen bags are a copy of the LP bags, without the ez on/off function. That feature and the locking to my bike feature made the price difference a moot point.

ETA: just looked at the LP site, those bags don't fit a Fat Boy

2nd ETA: I've seen them on a FB somewhere, don't recall where though. Micheal at LP is a solid guy and won't BS you just to make a sale, I say give them a call before you buy anything

I can tell you these aren't going to be cheap, but they're definitely some of the highest quality leather bags you'll find. You won't be replacing them any time soon.

I would avoid that place. Like you I couldn't find much online but I did notice they have an Instagram account. The thing with IG is that scammers & bullshit arrtists change their usernames, the more times they've changed names the better the odds are that they're scumbags. The account related to them joined in Dec 2021 and has changed names 20 times. That's enough that I wouldn't send them a dime.

Good luck
