I have not had good luck with craftsman torx bits. They seem soft.. They also twist easily and can make life frustrating when trying to get stuff done... Snapon has a good set, and my carquest set is what I use most often...
They are a flat black and might be hardened.... I would not suggest craftsman in this case, unless you live close to sears, and don't mind getting new tools in the middle of the project.....
So did you get it done ? The problem I had was the bolts for the bracket kept spinning but not loosening up . There was so much loctite on them that they wouldnt break free ! I ended up having to take the fender struts off and get it out that way . My bike is also lowered so I didnt have much room to get in there [sm=headbang.gif]
Mine was 1/2" bolts and with a 1/2" swivel socket and long 1/4" drive extension it was a peice of cake... all tho my turn sig wires seemed a little short....
hopefully. i may go do it right now. i installed the kury leds and they "hyperflash" which means I need to figure out the load equalizer situation. some say the kury one shuts down the flashers. maybe I should have just had the dealer do it. I do not want to start cutting wires apart.
