since we're talking about seats???

What's everybody's take on Gel.Corbin doesn't beleive in it. I had a Corbin and was firm and comfy. Whohas past experiences withboth a Corbin and a seat with Gel? See Corbin's faq: http://www.corbin.com/faq.shtml

Just from readin on the board here, seems most reviews have been negative. They are hot and the gel breaks down.

I've been riding a Saddlemen with "SaddleGel" for two years now and would not ride another motorcycle without it. It never gets "hot" and feels the same today as it did when I bought it..(no breakdown).I had back surgery, L5/S1 (that's low back) and was worried about long trips...my butt and back have felt better after a 500 mile trip then a night in a bed. There is nothing better on the butt, can't attest to any other seat maker who uses "gel"
