Just noticed today that the low beam on my headlight was out. I do have a new spare in my toolbox but it got me to thinking instead of replacing with OEM to maybe upgrade to an LED. Can anyone suggest a replacement bulb for the headlamp in my 2006 Heritage classic? Also if you have one installed what are your thoughts?
I tried the H4 LED replacement bulb and got more light but was not happy with the pattern.
Switched to the Sunpie, Cheep LED replacement headlamp, and got better light pattern but lights rattled, very annoying
Switched to the Hogworkz LED Chrome 7" .(Daymaker Replacement) and am very happy.

I assume this is the whole headlamp and not just the bulb?

I’ve been running Sunpie’s on my Heritage and Freewheeler for years without issue.
I certainly would buy them again.
Unlike most things these days the price has actually come down on these.
If you’re an Amazon Prime member the price for the 3 light kit is now down to $83
Also, it’s hard to question a product where-as 90% of 1900 reviews are a 4 or 5.

This is the problem with putting an LED bulb in a light with a reflector that was not designed for an LED bulb....
You won't get the full effects of a superior LED light system, and can cause issues with blinding oncoming motorists.
Most people don't care. They just want more light projected in front of their bike...
IMHO, if you ride at night, it is better to get an LED designed headlamp, rather than mix & match a bulb with the reflector designed for another bulb technology...
Good luck with your decision and your lighting upgrade...

This actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks for pointing this out.
I've got a Hogworkz halo light on my 2002 Fat Boy. I generally like their stuff but this headlight seems to have a widely scattered high beam that's not much use in my opinion. I do very little night riding so I just live with it.
