Finding difficulty getting a new windshield. I have the "adjustable" not the removeable. All replacements seem to fit the removeable hardware.
In searching for removeable hardware parts. It seems most are listed as 2000-2017 not any 1999 and earlier. Do the 2000-2017 parts fit the 1997 Heritage? Same with most aftermarket windshields. Seem to indicate 20000 and up.

Thanks for any advice.

As far as I know, the forks are the same. It should interchange. I would like the adjustable feature. On the 00 & up, the windshield
tilts slightly forward. I think that's what causes some of the buffeting people talk about.
The grommets & hardware are cheap from Harley. It would just be a matter of finding the whole quick detach windshield on ebay or something.

I’ll give it a try. None of the replacements I have found match the bolt pattern on the adjustable or I wouldn’t bother changing it.
