I finished work on my2003 Ftaboy about two months ago, added an Avon 250 on spokes , also new seat and front wheel and tire , rear fender, converted all signals and brakes to LED changed out bars for 1.25 with internal wiring and swappped all lines for braided lines plus lots of other stuff, bike still handles very well ,

YO 250,
Way to go man. You ask a question and then go out and "Do IT." If your single it won't be long till some chick picks you up and wants a two up seat on that ride!

Very nice. Are those pipes V&H? EFI? Did you do a power commander? Please share. Thanks.

looks awesome.

i did the same to my bike (Used the Custom Valley 240 kit) and never looked back. What a difference in looks, and it really doesn't (to me) feel any different than stock.

good job. anything else planned?

I have never been a fan of an fat wide rear tire past 180/200mm on HD softails, but that bike is an exception. It looks real good on that fatboy. One of the very RARE occasions I have seen it look in place. Why dont you do everybody a big favor and tell us about the parts list used, and maybe some photos of the bikes setup with the seat(and fender too if you have em) off? Pat yourself on the back, that bike has got class.

The handlebars flow well with the rear fender. Looks like your using HartlandUSA struts and rear fender from a quick glance. Anyway, please, give us a parts rundown and some pics showing the internal strut/swingarm area without the seat and fender.

Thanks everyone for the comments,
I tried hard to build a bike that was clean , modern , low and mean, yet still be true to its roots and be completely reliable, I can pull into any Harly dealer and get anything repaired
I will get some more pics for you , I have to shrink them down, I took pics of pretty much the whole build so as to have something to referance in the future, It is a Heartland 250 kit , was really pretty easy to install thought long and hard on wheel choicew and always went back to the spokes, I photoshopped my bike with at least 25 sets of billet wheels and never got the look I was looking for except with the wires, I did have a power commander on it but ended up taking it off to make a little more room under the seat, again I love the look and the ride is really just fine , took about ten miles to get used to it , but it really doesnt make that much difference ,will get more pics and a list of build components.
