Slipping clutch
I have a 2015 Softail Deluxe, 7,600 miles, stock engine, and the clutch is starting to slip.
Backdrop: I’m the 3rd owner, I purchased last Christmas with 6,500 miles on it. Mint condition, very well maintained, Carfax on the bike checked out perfect, no signs of misuse from previous owner(s). Thus far the bike has been flawless. Today on the highway in 6th gear doing 60 mph, I gave it half throttle to pass a vehicle, and the clutch slipped. Never did that before.
For the past 3 weekends, I’ve been doing some slow speed cone drills (I’m taking an intermediate MSF class soon). During the drills, I feather the clutch a lot to regulate my speed. Each of the three sessions were only 30 mins each.
QUESTIONS:
1. Was that enough to do damage to the clutch?
2. Should I just remove the derby cover, adjust the clutch, and see how it does, or is that merely a band-aid approach?
3. Should I take it to the dealer and let them look for the root cause of the problem?
Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Ride Safe guys !

don't know about your model year, but pretty sure my manual recommends checking clutch adjustment every 5000 miles
so I'd start there for sure
..L.T.A.
