RE: Does the Heritage scrape floorboards more than...

Man... looks like he's on his way down!!!
Roger
I belive that that particular pic is the second one in a string of 4 that sombody sent me about a year ago.
The two after it show the rest of the story and your right he is on the way down.
If you look at the front tire you can see its starting to "unload" already. The contact patch is way too small for a bike that big going that hard into a turn.

I'll look around for them, but don't hold your breath. I thinkthey may have been lost when my computer decided to go out in a blaze of glory last winter and I had to get a new one.
I lost a lot of good info when that happened, even with a spare drive in it as a backup.
When the system went bye-bye it took out everything inside the case except for the video card, and the floppy drive.

Ya, if I had to bet he was going down in that picture. Note the front wheel is in the wrong direction. When turning right as in the photo the front wheel should actually be turned to the left. It is called counter steering and we all do it (many without knowing it). Give it a try... get going over 30 mph and push forward on the right bar end a bit and see which way the bike turns. As said above, counter steering mainatins contact patch.
As for the floorboards, yup, RK has better clearance. Although, I must say I have only rubbed the boards a few times even on my Deluxe which has the worst clearance.
