Looking For Some Feedback
I have the same bars as the OP on my 00 Fatboy. They're comfortable, but I really don't like the look of them on a Fatboy and I think they belong on a Lowrider. or something with a narrower front end .. Just my opinion though...
I was going to say no, because looking at the bike it doesn't look right. But, from the driver seat it may look right. With the handle bar bag in front of it, I kinda dig it. So, yeah... if it feels good, put a bag on it & call it a day.
I don't mind those bars, I guess it depends on whether they're comfortable or not for you, the rider or not.
I really hated the stock bars on my RGS, I did ask my local HD dealer how much to replace them, I don't recall the price but it was ridiculous.
We went to the bike rally at Gettysburg last July and stopped at Battlefield Harley Davidson, they had a big event going on and The Fairing Exchange had a tent setup to replace bars, upgrade stereos, and what not. I didn't really plan on it at the time, but I got a set of 12" KST Pathfinder bars installed with new memory foam grips for $950, it was done while we walked around and checked out some bikes and bought some t-shirts. The difference in riding now after getting bars that are actually setup for me is remarkable, they look and feel great and they did a phenomenal job.
Shop around, take your time, and get what's going to work for you.

Top shelf bars will cost between $400 - $500 and top shelf risers about $200. Check out Carlisle. Some bars come pre wired. I'm on my 4th set on this bike and I finely found something I really like. I do all the work myself, best way to learn your Harley. I went from OEM, to 18" Carlisle Gangsters, to Beach bars to 12" Carlisle apes. Sometimes it takes a bit to find the perfect combo of badass and comfortability.
