2022 fxbbs clutch getting loose when hot.
Hello, new to riding. I bought a 2022 Street bob as my first bike. It has about 1500 miles on it now. The issue is when I am riding and the bike gets hot, the clutch lever loosens dramatically. When cold, it's nice and tight though. I've tightened the cable through the spring on the side of the forks but afraid to tighten the set screw inside the case due to how tight it is when cold. When hot, the lever gets so loose that it sits on my knuckles and I'm using my fingers to push it back out. The bike isn't under warranty because I bought it used with 60 miles on it. This only became an issue when the bike got to about 900 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

You just need to try adjusting your clutch properly it sounds like to me. It's really easy to do, and you need to acquaint yourself with your bike anyhow. Don't start paying big bucks to the shops for BS work. YouTube will be your friend, it's full of information. Welcome to the Forum BTW, and ride safe my friend.

If you are having trouble with clutch adjustment, I recommend the Fat Baggers metal adjuster that replaces the cheap stock Harley plastic adjuster.
