Does anyone know where I can source the rubber seal that goes under the fuel gauge on a 07 Heritage? I have looked at every site I can think of. Maybe my search criteria is incorrect. Gasket or seal or rubber seal for softail fuel gauge search brings zero results.
Thanks for the P/N. Harley is out of stock and they want me to visit a dealership over 90 miles away.
Ebay is sold out.
I found one at a online parts store for a total of $28.41 including shipping. That’s a bit much for a $5-$10 gasket. I don’t ride in the rain so I’ll tough it out until I happen to be near a Harley dealership.
Unless you guys know where I can get one online cheaper. I’ve used Safari, Bing and Google with little results.

I just called my local HD dealer, and they have one.. Going to pick it up a little later. If it's that hard to get I figure I might as well stock one or 2. Sort of like the brake light switch issues..

No way in hell I would pay $28 for one.
Maybe take a visit to Ace, True-Value, and some of the local Hardware stores. Some have a pretty vast supply of misc gaskets and seals. Going by memeory, which is iffy sometimes, I think I was or did use an O-ring for a seal until I got to he HD dealer. Just some ideas for you.

I’m thinking an O-Ring too. It will make the gauge sit a little higer.
Sometimes in my travels I go near Harley dealers in other cities. They just shut down my local dealer, Taboo Harley. I pass right by them regularly.
