Default New handlebars on the way!

I have been considering these handlebars for awhile now, and when I looked at them yesterday they were marked down for clearance to $89. Original price $299, so I could not pass up the deal. They have shiny black and Matt Black ones still at normal price and seem to be selling a lot of them as blacked bikes seem to be the thing nowadays. I like the Chrome on mine, as it looks like the bikes I dreamed of having when I was 15. I think these bars will look great on my Heritage Softail Classic

If you like them, they're perfect. Gonna be pretty tuff running wires through those sharp corners tho. There's always welding flash on the inside of the corners too that's just waiting to shred and short out your wiring. Don't forget the cost of throttle cables, clutch cable and a new front brake line too. Just saying.....

Good Morning Old Rek, Thanks for your insight . I have been looking at options for extending wiring and hoses and will do so on an as needed basis. I was reading an article the other day saying that you original cabled and hoses on the Heritage Softail Classic would work up to a 12" ape, so I figure get the bars and evaluate lengths before ordering. since these go above 12" at the elbow then back down at the handgrips I am assuming I will need longer. This will be my first handlebar replacement on any bike so I want to make sure to do it right. I appreciate the heads up on the flashing, I may see if I can snake a flexible wire brush in there ,through the hole for the handgrip wiring, to clean it up some.

Good idea with the flexible brush.
A good option I used myself for hoses and cables came from Magnum Shielding BYO products. Perfect fit every time!! Good luck with your project.

Madison Bill, that is a beautiful Machine! Love the green, and the handle bars go along nicely!
