I'm needing a folding backrest that uses the two seat bolts on the back of my stock seat. I'm riding solo so no passengers, me and my dealer have looked without any luck HELP please!
I have never seen one either. Do you have the ability to mount from the high side? After getting used to it I much prefer it. It works perfect with my fixed backrest.
I've never seen a folding backrest for a Softail. I use a grasshopper on my Softail it works great. I usually mount from the high side, makes it easier to get on the bike.
My 2000 Heritage had a Mustang wide touring seat on it. It had a removable riders backrest
with a built in hinge. It would fold down flush with the seat. That was a VERY comfortable seat.
