Default Dumb question?

Greetings my friends, dumb question perhaps. Really not my area of expertise that's why I'm asking. Come rebuild time, would this require a tune. or will the O2 sensors still maintain AFR? Thanks for your replies on advance.

Doing a big bore kit would require a tune.

If you are adding a big bore kit (like above) to a smaller displacement engine, (ie: new pistons, bigger cylinders, different cams, bigger displacement, and higher compression, etc.), you will end up with a completely different engine than the bike was originally tuned for. You will absolutely need to tune the bike...

If you are just rebuilding an engine, with the same parts, and to the exact same specs that it was previously tuned for, you'll just have a fresh/new version of the engine that was in the bike already... there will be no need for a retune.

I hope that info helps....

What I am wondering is if it is feasible to take my 96 to 110 without a tune. It’s got 80 on the clock now and it’s only a matter of time before I need to do something as far as work goes.
