I would not own a harley without a manual, or pretty much anything else.

Yes. I didn't have any problems with my '95 Heritage. Had it for almost 3 years. I changed the oils myself but put it in a local shop for tires, brakes, and carb adjustment. The second bike ('94 Road King) broke down within a month and I had somene offer me the amount that I paid for it, som I sold it then. I could have put this one in the shopn when all of this happened but I want to learn it, so I chose to try it myself.
