I have been looking at buying a low mileage 2017 Heritage Softail as a second bike. The problem is that the footboards are a little too far forward for my comfort and I have been unable to find a kit that would relocate the footboards to the rear.
Does anyone make a kit that relocates the footboards to the rear and inch or two? I've seen kits that move them forward, but I want to go the other direction.

Most complaints of OEM footboards are too close to exhaust or not forward enough. That is why the kits I see move them out or forward.
Did you ask the owner if he has added any footboard relocation kits?
First thing to try would be removing the heel shifter, that will allow your feet to be a little more rearward on that side anyway. Next look into seeing if FLSTN softail deluxe floorboards will fit the heritage, there stock ones were a little longer in the rear than the factory halfmoons that were on heritage on some years. Next look at custom aftermarket floorboards, there are tons of them that look longer to the rear.
I dunno. Contact DK Customs. If they dont have something, they may be able to whip up something for you.
I reached out to DK Customs and received a quick response. They don't have anything that would work and are not aware of anyone else who makes what I need.
I am certainly impressed at how fast they got back to me.
