Yeah the personal insults are wholly uninteresting.
Geez, you look up a person's history the number of posts they made when they started are you kidding me?
I would have no interest of knowing any of that about you.
And it's kind of creepy you're so into me.

Just to bring this thread back on track...

Would you rebuild the carb if it's been sitting for 2 years with a rebuild kit? If yes, which rebuild kit is best?
Thanks

How does it run?
If the gas was treated it should not have damaged the carb in 2 years.

IMHO... That would depend on how it was running before the long break, and how long before the break it was last rebuilt...

On my OEM CV40 carb, I use parts form CV performance. They have great tutorials too.

I don't know the history of the bike really or the carb...

I would easily rebuild it if it was a CV carb as I've rebuilt a few before and I also use CV Performance for parts.

OK, now I'm confused...

You said, "Just to bring this thread back on track..."

I looked backwards through this thread to find out what kind of carb you have ....

This is a tire thread......

I definitely missed something..

Bringing it back on track was about stopping the insulting posts that had taken over the thread.... and the carb is related to the the thread title - a bike that has done no miles in 2 years.
cheers

OK thanks.....

I just missed the transition from tires to carb.

Thought I had accidentally answered an unrelated thread...
