There's no need for a template. The block itself serves as a template. There are three 1/8" holes in the bottom of the block.
With the kickstand removed from the bike, position the kickstand foot in the block's recessed cutout. Drilling from the bottom, use a 1/8" bit to establish three pilot holes in the kickstand foot. Set the block aside. Drilling from the bottom, use a 17/64" bit to enlarge the pilot holes in kickstand foot. From the top, use the supplied hardware to secure the block to the foot (red loctite is recommended). Reinstall the kickstand to the bike.
