Red face Help lining apes up with forks

Couldn't find a thread with this question so sorry if I missed it.
I've got a 2009 FXSTB, looking for 14" inch apes (not sure of the style yet), and completely obsessed with lining up the lines of the apes with the width of the forks/trees, trying not to let the outside of the base of the bars exceed the trees as much as possible.
I've changed my bars a few times already and would like this decision to stick.. at least for a little while
I can't seem to always find the right or consistent information on dimensions of different bars, so if anyone could give me some options or point me in the right direction from their own experiences/knowledge/pictures, it would make my life a lot easier and I'd appreciate it a lot.
Thanks in advance

Ironhold makes a real nice handlebar. There business is in Quebec. They have all the info on there website, models, heights, width and etc.

I bought the darkline 12" 1.5" dia. extra curve. Had them put on in December, so havent had a chance to try them yet, but they feel great. wont know for sure till spring.

For my mind the thicker bars often add too much bulk to the look of a bike.

Just some food for thought.
